"I am currently engaged in 'gig' jobs where I utilize my career skills in organizational communications for interim and contract positions. These 'gig' jobs include: writing/editing, consulting on branding/public relations/marketing, and event coordination."
Is BRENDA A Hustla' Or Enjoying A Guilty Pleasure?: "I enjoy going to networking events where I gain new insights or meet folks who may be able to use my skills. Jazz is my music passion acquired during my days at Spelman when I was one of the first group of students who put WCLK-FM Radio on the air. I started as a news reporter/public affairs host where I covered the weekly press conferences for Mayor Maynard Jackson. I then advanced to hosting a weekly jazz show. I continued hosting a jazz program for ten more years after I graduated from Spelman."
